Rising Liverpool teen star Wilson steals show with delightful backheel for U23s

The Welsh winger’s strike came against Manchester United last night.

LIVERPOOL TEEN HARRY Wilson further enhanced his reputation as a star of the future with a delightful backheel against Manchester United’s U23s last night.

The 19-year-old winger is yet to make his senior debut at Anfield but was capped by Wales as a 16-year-old in a World Cup qualifier against Belgium in 2013.

And Wilson’s name is back among the headlines after his stunning goal put the Reds ahead against their rivals at United’s Leigh Sports Village.

The hosts equalised through a Josh Harrop penalty and the match finished in a 1-1 draw, 24 hours after Monday night’s stalemate between their respective Premier League sides.

The likes of Danny Ings and Mamadou Sakho may have featured for the Reds’ U23s last night but it was Wilson who stole the show.
