WIN: Tickets to see your favourite Irish province as the Heineken Cup heats up

You can have the best seat of the house as the pool stages shake out.

WE’RE IN THE middle of a crucial period of rugby.

After the provinces’ crunch interprovincial clashes over Christmas and the new year, we’ll be back to top-level European rugby.

Munster, Ulster and champions Leinster all still have Heineken Champions Cup ambitions going into the last couple of rounds.

And, with their seasons on the line, we have a pair of tickets for the home game of your choice as well as a hamper of Heineken’s commemorative bottles, to give away, ahead of the tournament’s return.

To be in with a chance of winning the prize, just listen to our end-of-year edition of Heineken Cup Rugby on Thursday, 27 December and email competitions@the42.ie to tell us which player — besides Johnny Sexton — Murray Kinsella picked as his player of the Irish rugby year. He had plenty to choose from.

Each week on the show, Murray, Gavan Casey and Andy Dunne analyse the week’s most important clashes, dissect the breaking news and talk to some of the game’s biggest names.

Murray Kinsella, Gavan Casey and Andy Dunne preview another big weekend of rugby action and dissect the week’s main talking points.
