Here’s your GAA coverage on TV and Radio this week

There’s plenty to watch on the box and listen to on the airwaves this week.

IT’S ANOTHER BUSY weekend of GAA action with provincial finals down for decision in Munster hurling and Leinster football.

There are also four matches in Round 2 of the All-Ireland SFC and two games in Phase 3 of the All-Ireland SHC

Here’s a breakdown of the games that are being broadcast live on television and radio over the weekend.

Saturday

All-Ireland SHC Phase 3 Qualifier: Clare v Wexford, Semple Stadium, 5pm

Live radio coverage on Newstalk with commentary by Dave McIntyre, analysis by Ollie Baker and Paul Flynn, and Diarmuid Lyng is the sideline reporter.

All-Ireland SHC Phase 3 Qualifier: Kilkenny v Waterford, Semple Stadium, 7pm

Matt Cooper presents live coverage on TV3 from 6.30pm while Mike Finnerty is on commentary duty.

RTE Radio One’s Saturday Sport programme provide live radio coverage of the game as well.

All-Ireland SFC Qualifier Round 2: Kildare v Louth, Newbridge, 7pm

KFM Sport have live commentary with Killian Whelan & Peter McConnon with Ger McNally & Aindriu MacLochlainn on analysis.

Sunday

Leinster MFC final: Kildare v Westmeath, Croke Park, 12pm

KFM Sport have live commentary with Ger McNally, Peter McConnon and Killian Whelan.

Leinster SFC final: Dublin v Meath, Croke Park, 2pm

Matt Cooper presents live coverage on TV3 from 1.30pm with Mike Finnerty commentating.

Newstalk have live radio coverage of the game with commentary from Dave McIntyre, Dermot Earley and Tomás Quinn providing analysis while Colm Parkinson is the sideline reporter.

Munster SHC final: Limerick v Cork, Gaelic Grounds, 4pm

There’s live coverage of this game on The Sunday Game on RTE Two.

RTE Radio One’s Sunday Sport programme provide live radio coverage of the game as well.

All-Ireland JFC semi-final: Kildare v Sligo, Pearse Park, Longford, 6pm

KFM Sport have commentary with Killian Whelan and Ger McNally.

Championship Matters

Thursday, RTE Two, 8.30pm

Presenter Marty Morrissey will be joined in studio by Dublin’s Leinster title winning captain Johnny McCaffrey, Westmeath footballer Dessie Dolan and former Waterford hurler John Mullane.

Limerick hurler Wayne McNamara is the latest to take the Hot Seat quiz while Vincent Hogan of the Irish Independent ponders who who can write the final acts in the dramatic script that is the hurling championship.

The GAA Show

Friday, 3E, 6.30pm and Saturday, TV3, 8.30am

Presenter Kieran McSweeney is joined by former Dublin footballer Senan Connell ahead of this weekend’s Leinster football final. There’s also build-up to the Phase 3 hurling qualifier between Kilkenny and Waterford, along with the show’s regular features Video Vault and 3 View.
