John Palmer from Home and Away is a huge Munster fan now

He’ll prove it by wearing a crisp new Munster jersey during Australia’s third Test against the Lions.

WHEN HE’S NOT cavorting with Marilyn, it seems John Palmer is humming the Fields of Athenry to himself and wondering what the future holds for Munster now that ROG has retired and Rob Penney continues to impose his new style on the southern province.

That’s if this pic brought to our attention by dyed-in-the-wool Munster woman Aoife Danagher is anything to go by.

With most of world rugby’s eyes trained upon Australia these days, Danagher got to Tweeting actor Shane Withington about the Lions series and, well, one thing led to another and before you could say ‘flaming galah’  he had donned the venerable red jersey sent his way.

However, Conor Murray or no Conor Murray, Withington has not been swayed from his affection for the green and gold and he will roar on the Wallabies from within his Munster jersey tomorrow.
