Turner's Cross to host Ireland's U21 European Championship play-off decider

The two-legged play-off against Finland is scheduled for 13 November in Tampere and 17 November in Cork.

TURNER’S CROSS WILL host next month’s U21 European Championship play-off decider as the Republic of Ireland bid to qualify for the tournament for the very first time.

The FAI confirmed that Ireland will return to the Cork venue – site of their recent 3-1 win against England – for the second leg against Finland on Tuesday 17 November [5.45pm].

The first leg is scheduled for Friday 13 November in Tampere, with kick-off at 4.15pm Irish time.

Both legs will be shown live on Virgin Media as Jim Crawford’s side bid to take the final step and book their place at next summer’s tournament in Albania and Serbia.

Tickets for the home leg will go on general sale next Friday, 30 October.
