A statement from the Australian side reads, “O’Connor is likely to miss 1-2 weeks after damaging his left sternoclavicular joint. Although scans this afternoon have confirmed no fracture, the Wallaby playmaker is in doubt for the Rebels match against the Stormers this Friday night.”
O’Connor, who can fill in at outhalf, centre or fullback, will be hoping to return to action before Wallabies coach Robbie Deans names his squad to face the Lions on 11 June.
