YOU’VE GOT TO love Soccer Saturday.
Even if the football is failing to entertain, you can always rely on Jeff Stelling or one of the pundits to provide endless amusement throughout the afternoon.
And today was no different.
As the panel were looking ahead to Saturday’s fixtures, they were rudely interrupted by Stelling’s phone. The presenter proceeded to get it out from his bag and answer it.
“Hi darling, yeah I’m at work,” he joked, while starring down the camera to a chorus of laughter from Thompson, Le Tissier, Nicholas and Merson.
But it turned out it wasn’t actually a family member who had completely forgotten the 60-year-old is otherwise engaged on a Saturday from 12-6pm.
