John Mullane does the Ice Bucket Challenge and then nominates Waterford GAA officials

The ex- Deise player wants to see the chairman, secretary and PRO take the challenge.

JOHN MULLANE GOT involved yesterday in the Ice Bucket Challenge craze at WLR FM’s studios in Waterford.

The Waterford hurling legend took part along with athletes Kelly Proper and Thomas Barr. It’s all part of a drive raise awareness of Lou Gehrig’s/motor neuron disease.

And now Mullane is calling on Waterford board officials to get involved as he nominated chairman Tom Cunningham, secretary Timmy O’Keeffe and PRO Emer Barry to take the Ice Bucket Challenge at one of this weekend’s club senior hurling championship games in the county.

We’ll see if they step up to the plate.
