Juego Bonito: watch Uruguay book their place in the final thanks to Suarez brace

WATCH: Liverpoool striker on the double as Uruguay eye record 15th title.

Uruguay 2 Peru 0

How it happened: Luis Suarez fired Uruguay into the Copa America final with a second-half brace against 10-man Peru in La Plata.

The Liverpool striker struck twice in five minutes shortly after half-time, first on 52 minutes after Peru goalkeeper Raul Fernandez spilled a speculative Diego Forlan shot.

The 24-year-old then rounded Fernandez to roll in a simple second.

Peru’s went from bad to worse when captain Juan Manuel Vargas was shown a straight red card on 68 minutes after he elbowed Sebastian Coates in the face. That’ll do it alright

Key man: Guess. Liverpool man Suarez struck both goals. No brainer.

What that means: Uruguay will meet the winner of tonight’s semi-final between Paraguay and Venezuela on Sunday. Uruguay are going for their 15th title which would be a record.
