GIVEN HIS EARLY season form for Munster, Keith Earls is a man who would have hoped to be involved with Ireland’s bid to break their losing record at Stade de France this weekend.
However, a knee injury in January ended the wing’s chances of playing a part in this year’s competition, and he has been on the path to recovery since. The good news is that Earls is now back in training with Munster after his stint on the sidelines with medial ligament problems.
The 26-year-old took part in the province’s session at CIT this morning and will now be focused on returning to full fitness as soon as possible, with a close eye on the Heineken Cup quarter-final against Toulouse in April.
Meanwhile, hooker Niall Scannell was also back in training, having recovered from the hyper-extension of his right elbow last month. Munster enjoyed a week off last week but are now back into the hard work ahead of their next Pro12 clash against Treviso on the 22nd of March.
