Just the one change for Kerry for All-Ireland junior football semi-final

Kerry take on Sligo in Ennis on Saturday at 3pm.

KERRY HAVE MADE just the one change for Saturday’s All-Ireland junior football semi-final against Sligo in Ennis.

Fionán Clifford is drafted into a defensive unit that also features his club mates Kevin O’Dwyer and Greg Gibson. Clifford starts at right corner-back with Shane Lynch the player to make way.

Kerry enter the game on the back of a 3-14 to 0-13 success over Cork in the Munster final last month in a game that saw Brian Crowley, Thomas Hickey and Gavan O’Grady all hit the net.

Seven members of the Kerry squad were involved with Darragh Ó Sé’s county U21 team that lost to Cork in the Munster championship earlier this year. Goalkeeper Shane Murphy, centre-back Denis Daly, wing-back Gavin Crowley, centre-forward Ciaran Keating, corner-forward Hickey and substitutes Jeff O’Donoghue and Padraig Ó Sé all featured during that game.
