Kevin Doyle to miss crucial Macedonia trip

Wolves striker is facing another month on the sidelines after he aggravated a knee injury against Sunderland.

IRELAND MANAGER GIOVANNI Trapatonni has been hit with an injury blow ahead of next month’s crucial Euro 2012 qualifier in Skopje.

Striker Kevin Doyle will sit out the game after he aggravated a knee injury while on duty with Wolves against Sunderland last weekend.

The former Reading and Cork City man made his comeback from a lay-off when he was introduced as a secong-half substitute in the crunch game against the Black Cats.

But the club confirmed today that Doyle is now facing another month out.

The Wexford native will also miss Ireland’s Carling Nations Cup fixtures as well as the friendly with Italy in Liege.
