KIERAN MCGEENEY HAS been re-appointed as Armagh senior football manager again for the 2018 season.
The 2002 All-Ireland winning captain will be at the helm for the Orchard for a fourth campaign.
The decision was made at a meeting of the Armagh county board last night with Peter McDonnell appointed as U20 manager and Paul McGrane appointed as U17 boss.
McGeeney was first appointed in August 2014 and made major progess this season after a couple of disappointing campaigns.
Armagh suffered a setback when they lost out on Division 3 league promotion in April after Michael Quinlivan bagged a late goal to grab victory for Tipperary.
After losing in their Ulster opener against Down, Armagh then picked up a series of qualifier wins against Fermanagh, Westmeath, Tipperary and Kildare before they were heavily defeated by Tyrone at the quarter-final stage.
