Poll: Should Kilkenny start Henry Shefflin on Saturday?

Has the time come to start King Henry?

IT’S ONE OF the biggest talking points ahead of one of the biggest hurling matches of the year.

Should Kilkenny start Henry Shefflin for Saturday’s knockout clash against Tipperary in Nowlan Park?

The legendary attacker has not featured for the Cats this year due to injury and last played a competitive game while lining out for his club Ballyhale Shamrocks in the Leinster club championship last December against Oulart-the-Ballagh.

Shefflin limped out of the game and has been absent ever since as he has battled injuries.

But there’s speculation that he could be set for a dramatic comeback this Saturday.

And we want to know do you think the time has come to start King Henry as Brian Cody’s side bid to save their season?

Poll Results:

No - He's lacking match practice and can't be fit given all his injury problems. (634)
Yes - He's the greatest hurler in the country and Kilkenny badly need him. (321)
