Kilkenny unveil U21 hurling team for Leinster opener against Wexford

Throw-in tomorrow night in Nowlan Park is at 7.30pm.

KILKENNY HAVE UNVEILED their U21 hurling side to face Wexford in tomorrow’s Bord Gáis Energy Leinster championship quarter-final.

There’s four survivors from the team that lost last year’s Leinster final against Wexford after extra-time in goalkeeper Aaron Duggan, midfielder Owen McGrath, wing-forward Richie Reid and corner-forward Conor Martin.

Injury rules out Kevin Kelly, Simon Aylward and Jack Langton. Both Kelly and Langton started in last July’s provincial decider loss.

Corner-back Ger Teehan was a member of the Waterford IT side that won the Fitzgibbon Cup back in March.
