IT’S AWARDS SEASON, ladies and gentlemen.

Last night, Croke Park hosted a special banquet.

In a ceremony which marked the 10th year of the Irish-language channel’s sponsorship of the Ladies Football Championships, the TG4 Ladies Football Team of the Decade was announced.

Eight counties were represented but Cork dominated with six players.

Players from Laois, Mayo, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Waterford and Monaghan were also chosen.
