VIDEO: The book isn't closed on my career just yet -- Lar Corbett

The likes of Niall Quinn, Donal Óg Cusack and Matthew Macklin hit Thurles for the book launch.

TIPPERARY SENIOR HURLING star Lar Corbett hopes there are several more chapters yet to write on his hurling career.

The Thurles Sarsfields clubman has just published his autobiography ‘All in my head’ and is gearing up for a Munster Club Championship clash with Cork’s Sarsfields on 11 November.

The 2010 Hurler of the Year has had a turbulent season with widespread public debate about his marking of Tommy Walsh during the 2012 All-Ireland SHC semi-final against Kilkenny. However Corbett has indicated he will offer his services to new Tipp boss Eamon O’Shea for the coming season.

Well known faces from Gaelic games including Limerick manager John Allen, GPA chairman Donal Óg Cusack, Dan Shanahan and several of his club-mates turned out for the book launch at the author’s bar in Thurles.

Boxing star Matthew Macklin and former Ireland international Niall Quinn also voiced their support.
