THEY ARE TWO of the greatest hurlers in the inter-county game but it was not the best of afternoons for Tipperary’s Lar Corbett and Kilkenny’s JJ Delaney.
The pair were in opposition in the Division 1 hurling league final which Kilkenny triumphed in by 2-17 to 0-20 in Nowlan Park.
But Lar and JJ saw their involvement in the game cut short when referee Barry Kelly showed the pair red cards in the early stages of the second-half.
