20-YEAR-OLD Serbian star Lazar Markovic is reportedly on the verge of joining Liverpool from Portuguese champions Benfica.
The talented winger looks set to sign for the Reds for £20m, a year after moving to Portugal from Partizan Belgrade, and will become the club’s fourth summer arrival after Rickie Lambert, Emre Can and Adam Lallana.
Markovic flew into Merseyside for a medical at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground and posted this picture on his official Facebook page along with the words “Next destination: Liverpool FC!”:
