Leinster defeated Munster in the Celtic Champions Classic.

NOTRE DAME UNIVERSITY hosted the Celtic Champions Classic Super Hurling 11s Exhibition game between Munster and Leinster.

The teams, made up of inter-county players, contested the 11-a-side match which was played on the university’s Lacross pitch in front of 2,500 fans at Arlotta Stadium.

The event coincided with the college football meeting between Notre Dame and USC in the aim of bringing the sport to new audiences and Leinster claimed the Galway Crystal Cup thanks to a 51-41 win.
