There was a nice Leinster reunion between Michael Cheika and Leo Cullen earlier

Cheiks was back at his old stomping ground with the Australian team.

MICHAEL CHEIKA IS in Dublin this week with his Australian team as they prepare to face Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday. His squad were training at Donnybrook Stadium earlier and an old face from Cheika’s Leinster days stopped by for a visit.

No doubt Cullen picked Cheika’s brain a bit as to how to fine-tune the Leinster pack.

Kurtley Beale was also back and cracking jokes in the Wallaby camp. Hope he stayed away from Whatsapp.

Given Quade Cooper and Will Genia prominently featured in Australia’s resurgence last Saturday, and that the former was put forward to do media duty today, it looks like Cheika is trying to put together a similar backline to the one what won the Tri-Nations in 2011 and played some champagne rugby in 2010.

That’s not good from an Irish perspective, because that unit worked very well together.
