The Irish Women’s rugby team are at Old Trafford today…
People are evacuating Old Trafford owing to what Sky have rather vaguely described as an “incident”.
There looks set to be a 45-minute delay to kick-off.
It’s been confirmed that the Man City game will kick-off at 3pm, as will all today’s other Premier League games.
So the United game will kick off 45 minutes late, but we’ll be covering the City game here too, which is just underway…
Decent start from City.
Nordfeldt, who is making his Premier League debut, gathers De Bruyne’s cross at the second attempt.

So the game at Old Trafford has been abandoned!

So City’s opener came as Iheanacho tapped home after Aguero’s initial shot was saved.
Referee Mike Dean initially appeared to rule the goal out, before belatedly awarding it.
Shortly after the City goal, Montero scores for Swansea, but this time, it is ruled out.
He’s adjudged to have pushed Sagna in the build-up.
Aguero’s shot hits the side-netting.
It’s been an exciting start to this game.
City break swiftly, but Iheanacho shoots wastefully over.
Meanwhile, Newcastle have taken the lead against Tottenham, while Arsenal are 1-0 up against Villa.
If things stay this way, Arsenal will pip Spurs to second place.
West Ham have taken the lead against Stoke.
As things stand, the Hammers leapfrog United into fifth.
Aguero gets on the end of a cross, forcing Nordfeldt into a decent reaction save with a first-time shot.
Shortly thereafter, Aguero blasts another shot just wide.
City look well in control of this game.
The ball breaks to Iheanacho in space, but he has a poor first touch, before shooting well over from the edge of the box.
Swansea are playing as if they’re on their holidays already.
Meanwhile, this has happened elsewhere…

City players have been guilty of man-handling their opponents as corners are put into the box.
They are seriously risking conceding a penalty every time that happens.
Tottenham are now 2-0 down against Newcastle, after a Mitrovic goal.
Looks like Arsenal will be getting second spot.
Montero’s pot shot from distance goes just wide.
Swansea are coming more into this game as the half comes to a close.
Otamendi has just been booked for a rash challenge on Britton.

The second half has begun…
Mangala heads De Bruyne’s cross over.
City have started this second half with plenty of purpose.
The Premier League have issued a statement saying the United fixture will be rearranged “as soon as practically possible”.
A Navas cross deflects off Nordfeldt.
The ball then falls to Iheanacho, but the youngster miscontrols it, and Swansea clear.

Fernandez heads over from a corner, as City breathe a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, Barrow has replaced Routledge for Swansea.
Imbula equalises for Stoke against West Ham.
If things stay as they are, Southampton would be 5th, West Ham 6th and United 7th.
Spurs have got a goal back through Lamela — they trail Newcastle 2-1 now.
This is turning out to be a much more dramatic final day than was initially anticipated.
The ball falls to Aguero on the edge of the box, but he doesn’t properly connect and consequently drags his shot wide.
City badly need a goal to settle their nerves.
A Fabregas penalty has put Chelsea 1-0 up against new champions Leicester, while Southampton have gone 2-0 up at home to Palace.
Meanwhile, as I type, it’s another poor attempt, as Fernando’s shot from the edge of the box goes well wide.
More drama at St James’ Park — Mitrovic has just been sent off.
The Spurs comeback is on.
That sums up Iheanacho’s day aside from the goal — he receives the ball in a promising position on the edge of the box, but then slips as his attempt goes well over.
He’s promptly replaced by Nasri.
A Wijnaldum penalty has made it 3-1 to 10-man Newcastle.
Looks like Spurs will have to hope Aston Villa score to avoid finishing third.
Nasri’s threatening cross narrowly misses a few onrushing players before Swansea nervously clear.

Giroud has put Arsenal 3-0 up with a hat-trick.
Looks like the Gunners’ record of always finishing above Tottenham under Arsene Wenger is set to remain intact.
Bafetimbi Gomis replaces Jefferson Montero as Swansea go in search of a winner.
Meanwhile, Danny Drinkwater has equalised for Leicester against Chelsea.
It’s now 10-man Newcastle 5-1 Tottenham.
It’s turning into a humiliation for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
There will be three minutes of stoppage time at the Liberty Stadium…
Stoke lead West Ham 2-1 now.
Looks like Man United will be finishing sixth at worst.
This Swansea-Man City game has petered out badly in the second half…
FULL-TIME: MAN CITY HAVE EFFECTIVELY QUALIFIED FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!
So it ends Man City 1-1 Swansea.
Man United need to beat Bournemouth by 19 goals to qualify for the Champions League, so that’s obviously not going to happen.
Today’s game was a fitting metaphor for City’s season — uninspired for large periods, but they just about got over the line in the end.
