Good afternoon and welcome to today’s live coverage of the Division 1 hurling league.

There are four quarter-finals down for decision, along with a relegation play-off. Here are the fixtures in full (all 4pm throw-in):

Division 1 quarter finals:

Cork v Limerick
Galway v Waterford
Kilkenny v Wexford
Offaly v Tipperary

Division 1 relegation play-off:

Clare v Dublin

Nowlan Park plays host to a tasty fixture between Kilkenny and Wexford. There’s a huge buzz around Davy Fitz’s men and they’ll be hoping to knock the Cats out on their home turf.

Meanwhile, Galway and Waterford go head to head in Pearse Stadium. Galway haven’t won a league title since 2010, while the latter took the honours two years ago.

Cork and Limerick have all to play for in Páirc Uí Rinn and Tipp and Offaly play off in Tullamore.

There’s a survival battle on the cards as well. Ger Cunningham’s Dublin travel to Cusack Park to face Clare. The two sides met three weeks ago, and the Banner came out on top by two. The Cuala lads are back though so it could be a different story this time around.

Two late changes in Páirc Uí Rinn. David Griffin in for Cork for Damien Cahalane, Alan Dempsey replaces James Ryan on the Limerick team.

We’re nearly set to go across the board. All to play for — four Division 1 semi-final spots, and then survival in the case of Dublin and Clare.

Clare had the first say in the relegation battle through Aron Shanagher. Tipp, Cork and Kilkenny opened the scoring in their respective fixtures.

  • Limerick 0-2 Cork 0-1
  • Galway 0-0 Waterford 0-1
