Liverpool to move for Giuseppe Rossi: The Reds are reportedly preparing a £20million bid for the ex-Manchester United star, who scored 16 times in 21 appearances for Fiorentina last year, with the Anfield club hoping the Italian could be the man to fill the void left by Luis Suarez’s departure to Barca.

Long prepares to join Saints: Shane Long’s £12million transfer from Hull to Southampton is likely to be confirmed today, with the player set to undergo a medical.

Hull to make Welbeck bid: Steve Bruce’s side are preparing for life without Long, and Man United’s Danny Welbeck is one of their rumoured targets.
