ARSENAL MANAGER ARSENE Wenger is lining up a surprise bid for Ireland international Kevin Doyle.
The Irish Daily Mirror reports that the Frenchman is hopeful Wolves will let the Wexford man go for around £12million.
Mick McCarthy signed the former Cork City striker for £6.5m in 2009 and he has led the line impressively since. Wenger reportedly marked Doyle into his wanted list at the France-Ireland World Cup qualification play-off in Paris.
