The Argentina striker rocked up to Carrington as a passenger in a black Hummer, exchanged an embrace with the facility’s security guard and then clocked in for the coming season.
Manager Roberto Mancini last week spoke to Tevez for the first time all summer, saying ‘his phone works again’.
In June, Tevez told a chat show on Argentinian television that he would not return to Manchester ever – ‘not even for a vacation’ – and complained about the weather.
