WHEN LUCAS MOURA dribbled almost the entire length of the pitch during Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 clash with Marseille on Sunday night and then lifted the ball over advancing goalkeeper Steve Mandanda, he could have been forgiven for thinking he had scored a wonder goal.
The Brazilian 21-year-old could rightfully have claimed it as the attacking play of the season if not for the last-gasp intervention by Marseille defender Rod Fanni, who spoiled the party by somehow getting back to swipe the ball off the line.
PSG went on to win 2-0, a major step towards retaining their Ligue 1 title.
