Even Roberto Carlos might be envious of this incredible free-kick

A brilliant yet bizarre goal from the Malaysian Super League.

PULAU PINANG WERE 4-1 winners against Pahang yesterday in the Malaysian Super League, which you obviously already knew.

However, if you haven’t seen Pulau Pinang’s third goal, you’re missing out. Striker Faiz Subri channelled his inner Roberto Carlos to score a pretty remarkable free-kick — albeit with his right foot instead of the left.

Goal

We haven’t seen a swerve like that since an orange Cup Champions ball was used in the 30-29 win for Ashleigh Gardens against Ashleigh Drive in the famous derby of 1993.
