MARCUS RASHFORD HAS become the youngest goalscorer in a Manchester derby in Premier League history after giving Man United a deserved lead at the Ethiad Stadium.

At just 18 years and 141 days, the Manchester-born striker has etched his name in the record books with a piece of individual brilliance.

After a relatively tense opening quarter to the derby at Eastlands, Rashford ignited the contest as he drew first blood for the visitors.

Juan Mata broke from midfield and found Rashford, who put Martin Demichelis on his backside and then showed great composure to roll the ball past Joe Hart to spark wild celebrations in the away end.

It’s now five goals in eight games for the teenager since making his debut against Arsenal last month.
