Remember wonderkid Martin Odegaard? He could be heading for the Premier League

The 17-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Real Madrid.

HIGHLY-REGARDED NORWEGIAN teenager Martin Odegaard could be on his way to the Premier League as he bids to get more first-team football.

The 17-year-old signed for Real Madrid in January 2015 but has inevitably struggled to make a senior breakthrough.

Having made his international debut for Norway when he was just 15, Odegaard was tipped for a big move for quite a while and he trained with quite a few elite teams while starring at Stromsgodset.

He eventually settled on a move to the Spanish capital but has been a regular starter for the Real Madrid Castilla – the club’s reserve side – rather than Zinedine Zidane’s senior team.

Though there are rumours linking him with a switch to Liverpool, it’s believed West Ham are top of the queue to sign him on loan for the 2016/17 campaign.
