How does McGeeney get set for Armagh's matches? Battle with Cathal Pendred

Armagh are playing Donegal in the All-Ireland quarter-final next Saturday but their selector is maintaining his interest in MMA.

GRAPPLING WITH MMA fighter Cathal Pendred isn’t a typical way for GAA selectors to unwind before big games.

But then again Armagh’s Kieran McGeeney isn’t a typical selector.

It’s been a hectic month for Armagh yet McGeeney has kept busy on the sporting front himself. This picture tweeted recently by Irish MMA supremo John Kavanagh gives an insight.

And Pendred was impressed by his opponent.
