THE MINOR LEAGUE baseball clash between the Reno Aces and Albuquerque Isotopes escalated swiftly last night when Isotopes infielder Erisbel Arruebarrena threw his helmet at one of the Aces’ players.
After a brief initial scuffle, it appeared that the incident would die out, but a few hardy souls carried on their disagreement near to the nets separating fans from the playing surface.
It all kicked off again as punches were thrown from both sides, and supporters captured the brawl from the stands. Fortunately, no one was badly hurt during the ugly scenes.
