Muller back in much changed Ulster side

Ireland’s November Series star Craig Gilroy is also named in the side to face Scarlets in the top-of-the-table clash.

ULSTER CAPTAIN JOHANN MULLER has returned to the side for the RaboDirect PRO12, top-of-the-table clash with the Llanelli Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets.

Muller, back from a thumb injury, is one of nine changes by Chris Anscombe.

The Ulster coach has decided to rest back row players Nick Williams and Chris Henry, as well as Paddy Wallace, Ruan Pienaar and Jared Payne.

Lewis Stevenson, Declan Fitzpatrick and Stephen Ferris are all out through injury.

Callum Black and John Afoa come into the front row along with Rob Herring. Loose forwards Iain Henderson and Robbie Diack come in for Williams and Mike McComish, while Roger Wilson starts again at number 8.

Ireland’s November Series stars Paddy Jackson, Luke Marshall, Darren Cave and man of the moment Craig Gilroy all come back into the line-up, while a strong bench has been named.

Ireland internationals Rory Best, Tom Court, Dan Tuohy and Tommy Bowe are all replacements.
