GAA: Leitrim's Mulligan furious as he makes spitting claim

The Leitrim captain alleged, ‘For a player to spit blood in a fellow player’s face is disgraceful carry on.’

AFTER NARROWLY LOSING out to Offaly in today’s NFL Division 4 encounter with Offaly, Leitrim captain Emlyn Mulligan took to Twitter.

The talismanic forward first voiced his disappointment at losing, but followed up with an allegation of a disgusting act from an Offaly player.

See for yourself.

In the 0-9 to 0-8 loss to Offaly, both sides had players sent to the sidelines. The Faithful’s Peter Cunnigham was shown a straight card according to this onlooker.

With Mulligan calling for stiff sanctions from Croke Park, the CCCC will be anxiously awaiting the referee’s report from Sean Hurson.
