Past pupils from tomorrow's Senior Cup finals schools would make a decent Ireland XV

Mind you, some of them would be a bit old now.

TOMORROW THE SCHOOLS Rugby Senior Cup finals take place in Leinster, Munster and Ulster with Belvedere College taking on CC Roscrea, Ardscoil Rís facing Rockwell and the Royal Belfast Academical Institution hoping to win their 34th provincial crown against Wallace High School.

Looking over the names of past pupils from all of the schools, we couldn’t help but notice the number of players who went on to successful careers with the provinces and Ireland.

With that in mind – and with more than a little poetic licence taken with one or two positions — we’ve put together a combined starting XV comprised of past pupils.
