IT’S STARTING TO heat up in the Allianz football league with Round 5 of the competition taking place this weekend. We’ll kept a close eye on all of today’s action.

Welcome along for a massive day of Gaelic football action in Round 5 of the Allianz football league.

First up, here’s what happened yesterday with Waterford, Monaghan and Meath all claiming victories.

And here’s what we’ve got in store today:

Division 1: Derry v Dublin, Celtic Park, 2pm; Tyrone v Westmeath, Healy Park, Omagh, 2pm; Kildare v Kerry, St Conleth’s Park, Newbridge, 2.30pm; Mayo v Cork, Elverys MacHale Park, Castlebar, 2.30pm.

Division 2: Down v Donegal, Páirc Esler, Newry, 2pm; Louth v Galway, Gaelic Grounds, Drogheda, 2.30pm.

Division 3: Wexford v Sligo, Wexford Park, 12.45pm; Limerick v Fermanagh, Gaelic Grounds, 2pm; Longford v Cavan, Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, 2pm; Roscommon v Offaly, Dr Hyde Park, 2pm.

Division 4: Carlow v Wicklow, Dr Cullen Park, 1pm; Tipperary v Antrim, Semple Stadium, 2pm.

The action is already underway in Division 3 and 4. Wexford and Sligo began their clash at 12.45pm in Wexford Park in Division 3 with Wexford ahead 1-6 to 1-3 at the interval. Michael O’Regan with the early goal for Wexford while Pat Hughes hit back with a strike for Sligo.

In Division 4, Wicklow hold a 0-12 to 0-5 lead approaching half-time against Carlow in Dr Cullen Park.
