Nemanja Vidic has been having a nightmare at Inter Milan

And Manchester United thought they had defensive problems…

IT’S SAFE TO say Nemanja Vidic hasn’t enjoyed the best of starts to his Inter Milan career.

The Serbian defender, who joined the Serie A club in the summer after eight years at Manchester United, gave away a penalty during his debut against Torino before being sent off for clapping the referee.

During last week’s 1-1 draw with Palermo, the 34-year-old was caught in possession and allowed Franco Vazquez to score after just four minutes.

And his nightmare continued this afternoon as he conceded a penalty in the Nerazzurri’s 4-1 loss to Cagliari.
