Northampton have been disemboweling opposition players for the entirety of 2014

Courtney Lawes and Samu Manoa are a two man wrecking crew.

THE NEXT TIME all of the rugby lawmakers convene to decide what should be changed about the game, perhaps they should consider outlawing Courtney Lawes and Samu Manoa being selected in the same team.

The duo rampage around the pitch filleting the opposition and while Manoa is on his way to Toulon at the end of the year, World Rugby (formerly the IRB) should probably expedite the process in the name of player welfare.

Charlie Hodgson and Billy Twelvetress have probably felt the force of these hits every time they have been exposed to a winter breeze.

Ken Pisi skewered Shane Geragthy in this collection too so considering Premiership Rugby made this big hit video, Northampton are officially the hardest tackling team in the league.

And there was another effort from Manoa from the recent game against Leicester that could have easily been included too.

But Ireland are no slouches in this department either, and we will always have Paulie’s heroic late drive against Australia.
