Off the record: 5 sporting stories you may have missed this weekend

Featuring bald cheerleaders, tekkers from Julio Cesar and Ricky Hatton’s farewell.

UNLESS YOU’VE BEEN glued to the internet all weekend, there’s a chance that some weird and wonderful sporting tidbits might have slipped through the cracks. Here’s a run-down of some of the stories you may have missed.

1. #RAFA OUT A large section of Chelsea fans let their feelings known before yesterday’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City by booing new manager Rafa Benitez at the kick-off. Sky’s Geoff Shreeves quizzed the Spaniard after the game but he insisted he was so focused he didn’t hear it.
