Relive the most sensational finale to an All-Ireland hurling final.

OFFALY FANS, get set to relive one of your greatest moments. Limerick fans, we’ll excuse you if you’d prefer to look away.

And hurling fans in general, look back on the 20th anniversary of the most sensational finale to an All-Ireland hurling final.

With five minutes left on September 4th 1994, Limerick were on course to end their All-Ireland famine as they lead by 2-13 to 1-11.

But then Johnny Dooley fired home a goal, Pat O’Connor followed up with another and then Offaly rattled off five points to clinch a stunning 3-16 to 2-13 win.

It is ‘Throwback Thursday’ after all, so relive the action here.
