IT HAS BEEN a while since we heard anything about Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki’s blossoming romance. Truth be told, we were quite ok with that.
But sport’s newest supercouple haven’t gone away you know. No no, they’re still here and they’ve even coined one of those horribly cringey portmanteau nicknames for themselves.
Yep, they’re calling themselves Wozzilroy (that’s a blend of Wozniacki and McIlroy just in case you were wondering).
We know this not because we’re stalking them, but because young Rory saw fit to have it engraved on a golf club which he bought for his darling girlfriend.
In return, he’s getting a custom-made tennis racket, which is presumably going to have the Wozzilroy engraving as well.
Sigh.
