wide or not?

Were Donegal denied an Ulster final replay by an umpiring error this afternoon?

This was such a tight call.

PATRICK MCBREARTY CAME within inches of rescuing a draw for Donegal in this afternoon’s Ulster football championship final but his late effort sailed just wide of the posts.

Or so we thought.

The Donegal fans behind the goal in Clones thought their star man had nailed the score to level the tie in the dying embers but the umpire adjudged it to have gone the wrong side of the upright.

But replays suggest it may have, in fact, been inside the posts. Either way, it’s incredibly difficult to know.

We’ll let you make your own mind up.
