MANCHESTER UNITED HAVE revealed that Juventus have given Paul Pogba permission to have a medical at the Premier League club’s Carrington training ground as his record-breaking transfer inches closer to completion.
United released a short statement on their official website just prior to the team kicking off against Leicester in the Community Shield at Wembley.
Paul Pogba has been granted permission to have a medical in order to finalise his transfer from Juventus to Manchester United”, it read.
It’s believed that the clubs have finally come to an agreement on a deal worth €110 million with add-ons expected to put another €10m onto the overall cost.
United, reportedly, have also relented and will pay the 20% cut demanded by Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola.
Juve boss Max Allegri had said the French midfielder was expected at training on Monday but cirumstances have now changed and Pogba is set for a return to the club he left in acrimonious circumstances in 2012 for a tribunal fee of £800,000.
