Tickets for Penn State’s Croke Park showdown with UCF set to go on sale
Jones’ Road is set to host a high-profile gridiron clash. We have a pair of tickets to give away.

FYI IRISH FANS of American football, general tickets for the Croke Park Classic go on sale tomorrow.

University of Central Florida take on Penn State at GAA HQ on 30 August next year.

The teams met at Beaver Stadium, the home of Penn State, in September with UCF winning the game 34-31.

Croke Park will have a capacity of 69,000 for the game and the GAA are confident that they will have a full house for the contest with prices starting at €20.

“A lot will depend on the numbers we attract from the U.S., particularly from Penn State,” GAA director general Paraic Duffy told TheScore.ie recently. “Florida won’t bring the same numbers. But I think the initial signs are very good.

UCF are flying high this year and look set to clinch at least a share of the American title which would qualify the Knights for their first-ever BCS Bowl Game in January.
