THE SOUTH AFRICA sevens is on at the moment and there was a pretty ridiculous pitch invasion in the South Africa vs USA game.
A fan breezed past the snoozing security guards and upended US player Perry Baker. Instead of calling for security or dragging the spectator to the touchline, Baker unleashed an almighty boot into the supporter’s mid-section.
Baker has since tweeted out an apology.
It was probably a bit excessive from Baker but it is outrageous that a fan was able to get past security to tackle him.
Baker and the fan should settle this like real men do.
