Peter Stringer agrees one-year contract extension at Munster

Cork scrum-half is currently on loan at Newcastle Falcons.

PETER STRINGER HAS agreed a one-year contract extension with Munster, the province has confirmed.

Dave Foley has also agreed a further 12 months at Thomond Park.

Stringer is currently on loan with Newcastle Falcons while Foley “opted for a one year contract instead of the offered two-year deal.”

Meanwhile, Tony McGahan has named his squad for this weekend’s RaboDirect Pro12 clash with Leinster. Paul O’Connell and Conor Murray are not yet fit enough to be included.
