HENRIK LARSSON, PIERRE van Hoijdonk, Dimitar Berbatov and Stiliyan Petrov himself all got on the scoresheet as 60,000 people turned out to pay tribute to the Bulgarian midfielder in a charity match at Celtic Park today.
The ‘number 19 Legends Charity Match’ was organised to raise money for a foundation set up by Petrov to support families hit by leukaemia.
Petrov was forced to retire from football last year after battling the illness. He is now in remission.

The Stiliyan XI emerged as 5 – 3 winners over a Celtic XI thanks to a Berbatov hat-trick (the pick of which was the typically languid mazy dribble below), Petrov’s goal and a late effort from Westlife’s Nicky Byrne.
