Podge Collins back in Clare football team to face Kerry tomorrow

The teams meet in Cusack Park with a final place on July 6th at stake.

PODGE COLLINS IS back in the Clare football team for tomorrow’s Munster semi-final against Kerry in Ennis.

Cratloe club man Collins will start at centre-forward for the Banner after missing last Saturday’s quarter-final replay victory over Waterford due to hurling commitments as he was part of the Clare side that were defeated by Cork last Sunday.

Collins will line up in the half-forward line alongside his brother Sean and Shane McGrath.

Barry Hartnett is the player to make way in the only change made by manager Colm Collins from last week’s success. A positional change does see Shane Brennan move to midfield to partner his brother and team captain Gary.

The teams meet at Cusack Park tomorrow at 3.30pm with a final place on July 6th at stake.
