Political football: Iranian and Bolivian leaders line out for footie game

What happened when Iran and Bolivia’s leaders pulled on football boots?

IRAN’S PRESIDENT MAHMOUD Ahmadinejad and his visiting Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales took part in an indoor football game in Tehran earlier.

Morales arrived in Tehran yesterday for talks with his host, which are expected to focus on energy, industry and trade.

Ahmadinejad was lucky not to get a knee in the groin from his visiting football player, judging by this crazy foul on the opposition leader in a knock-about charity game recently.
