IRELAND HAD TO settle for a 13-13 draw with France this evening but with minutes on the clock were close to grabbing what would have been a match-winning try.
Eoin Reddan kicked into the corner and Keith Earls was barged out of play by Vincent Debaty as he attempted to get the vital touch.
Referee Steve Walsh went to the TMO and after taking his time to look at all the angles, the decision was a 22 droupout.

“It fits into the law of shoulder-to-shoulder,” argued RTE panellist George Hook while Declan Kidney said:
That’s one of these decisions. I think the TMO was asked about try or no try – obviously it wasn’t. But ‘foul play, or not’, that seemed the to be taken out of his hands.”
What do you think… should Ireland have been awarded a penalty?
